What Purpose Does Our Cookies, Web Beacons and Other Similar Technologies Serve?
Supermicro does not track Site users over time or across third-party websites; therefore, our Site does not currently respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals.
How Does store.supermicro.com Use and Retain the Personal Information It Receives?
Information about you is an important part of our business, and we are not in the business of selling it to others. How Secure Is Information About You?
• The security of your Personal Information is important to us, we protect your information using commercially technical and administrative security measures to reduce the risks of loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure and alteration. Some of the safeguards we use are firewalls and data encryption, physical access controls to our data centers, and information access authorization controls.
• We reveal only the last four digits of your credit card numbers when confirming an order. Of course, we transmit the entire credit card number to the appropriate credit card company during order processing.
• It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer.
What About Third-Party Websites?
Which Information Can You Access or Correct?
Supermicro needs your help in verifying the accuracy of your personal information. Please notify us of any changes to your Personal Information, Account Information, contact information, preferences, etc.
Supermicro gives you access to a broad range of information about your account including, without limitation, your name, account information, title, phone number(s), address, and/or email address and your interactions with us for the limited purpose of viewing and, in certain cases, correcting or updating that information. Upon your request, we will close your account and remove your Personal Information from view as soon as reasonably possible, based on your account activity and in accordance with applicable law. We will honor any statutory right you might have to access, modify or erase your Personal Information. You can use the Contact Us link to request access and find out whether any fees may apply, as permitted by law. Where you have a legal right to request access or request the correction of information, we may, in some cases, still withhold that access or decline to correct information, in accordance with applicable law, but will inform you of our reason for doing so.
What Choices Do You Have?
As described above, you can always choose not to provide your Personal Information, even though it might be needed to make a purchase or to take advantage of such Supermicro features as Your Profile, Wish Lists and Customer Reviews. However, please note that certain features of our Site will not work without routing information and/or essential technical information.
Supermicro does not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under the age of 18. If we learn that we possess information from a child under the age of 18, we will delete and remove that information from our systems. If you are under 18, you may use our Site only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
