The Supermicro SYS-520P-WTR WIO SuperServer® supports a single Intel® Xeon® Scalable Processor (up to 36 cores) and 3DS DDR4-3200: RDIMM/LRDIMM/Intel® DCPMM memory in 8 DIMM slots. The SYS-520P-WTR includes 8 hot-swappable 3.5” SATA3 drive bays which makes changing hard drives easy without needing to open up the server. In addition, this WIO supports SAS3 with an additional SAS controller card, optional 2x 2.5'' Gen4 NVMe drives at the rear; Onboard 1x NVMe/SATA M.2. It supports up to 2 SuperDOM with built-in power which is designed for use as a boot drive, backup recovery device, license drive, or OS installation device (replacing CD/DVD-ROMs).
The 2U WIO server supports 4 add-on cards (via included riser card) and comes with onboard dual 10G Base-T LAN ports with Intel® Ethernet Controller X550. To power the entire system, there is a 650W platinum power supply with over a 94% efficiency rating.
