The Supermicro SuperServer SYS-121H-TNR is a compact 1U rackmount powerhouse for virtualization, software-defined storage, AI inference, machine learning, cloud computing, and enterprise applications. Built on the X13DEM motherboard with dual 5th/4th Gen Intel® Xeon® processors (up to 64 cores/128 threads), it supports air or liquid cooling for high-performance workloads.
Memory scales up to 8TB across 32 DDR5 DIMM slots, enabling fast data processing. Storage options include up to 12 hot-swap 2.5" NVMe/SAS/SATA bays with onboard RAID 0/1/5/10, plus dual M.2 NVMe/SATA slots for versatile setups. Expansion features 3 PCIe 5.0 x16 slots supporting up to 1 double-width or 3 single-width GPUs and 1 AIOM (OCP 3.0) slot for advanced networking.

With the Intel Xeon Max testing at Phoronix that's been ongoing so far for the past month on Phoronix has all been done within the Supermicro Hyper SuperServer SYS-221H-TNR rackmount server. This 2U dual socket platform for 4th Gen Xeon Scalable "Sapphire Rapids" processors has been working out well and provides a robust feature set while working out well for all of my Linux testing thus far.
