The Supermicro SYS-511E-WR WIO SuperServer® supports 4th Gen Intel® Xeon® Scalable Processors (up to 52 cores) and 2TB ECC DDR5-4800MT/s RDIMM memory in 8 DIMM slots. The SYS-511E-WR includes 4 hot-swappable 3.5” SATA drive bays which makes changing hard drives easy without needing to open up the server. In addition, this WIO server supports up to 2 SuperDOM with built-in power and a M.2 slot, which is designed for use as a boot drive, backup recovery device, license drive, or OS installation device (replacing CD/DVD-ROMs).
Unlock new potential with top loading expansion slot. This is a brand new tool-less design for easy serviceability. And it also enables a double-width GPU to be finally installed, starting this generation. The server supports up to 3 PCI-E 5.0 add-on cards (via included riser card) and has onboard dual 1G Base-T LAN ports. To power the entire system, there are redundant 860W Platinum Level power supplies with 94% efficiency rating.
