The Supermicro SuperServer SYS-222H-TN is a high-density 2U rackmount server ideal for virtualization, software-defined storage, HPC, cloud computing, and enterprise applications. Built on the X14DBM-SP motherboard with dual Intel® Xeon® 6700/6500 Series P-core (up to 86C/172T) or 6700 Series E-core processors (144C/144T), it offers flexible performance for diverse workloads with support for air or liquid cooling.
Memory capacity reaches up to 8TB across 32 DDR5 DIMM slots, accelerating data-intensive tasks. Storage options include up to 24 hot-swap 2.5" NVMe/SAS/SATA bays and dual internal M.2 PCIe 5.0 NVMe slots, with optional RAID via add-on cards. Expansion provides up to 4 PCIe 5.0 x16 or 8 PCIe 5.0 x8 slots for 4 double-width/8 single-width GPUs, up to 4 CXL 2.0 devices, and 2 AIOM (OCP 3.0) networking slots for seamless connectivity.

In our Supermicro SYS-222H-TN review, we see what this 2U Intel Xeon 6 server offers. With cloud-native Intel Xeon 6700E “Sierra Forest” processors, and plenty of expansion, there is a lot to go over in this Supermicro Hyper server.
